Calm after the storm

The sky brightens. You can't see the sun yet, but it's enough for the light to fill the room. The clouds cried themselves out and the ground is now wet enough for plants to grow, so flowers could blossom.

I don't usually start my mornings early, but I like to start them with calm and taking those moments for myself. I'll sit down with a cup of coffee, however I felt to prepare it on that day, and let the world go by while I'm standing still.

I'll get lost in the moment and it can prolong into hours. But I'm at peace. Or I hope to be. And the time you spent where the place feels right is never lost. I just wish for such moments. When I'm calm calm after the storm.
