Abandoned London adventures
Been going out with good excuses, since we're in lockdown like most people. But being stuck at the house, any excuse becomes a good excuse. What better than accompanying your friend who needs to go pick up official papers, who needs to go make a PCR test, who needs to go feed the ducks and go for the daily exercise.
There are still so many vibrant places, like Brixton, where people are crowding around market and shops. But then there are these utterly touristic spots, at which I finally realised why everyone found them so beautiful. Don't take this wrong, but even most people made things look better without people.
“You cannot find peace by avoiding life.” – Virginia Woolf
“Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” ― Jodi Picoult, My Sister's Keeper
“If you're lonely when you're alone, you're in bad company.” ― Jean-Paul Sartre
Oooh it looks so quiet! How bizarre! Must have been nice though!

Ah I can relate to enjoying the small joys of going for a walk in a quiet place these days - everywhere is so empty! London is SO different right now, I know what you mean!!

I miss so much London. The situation there is so tragical, but I'm happy you found a way to laugh to all the negative circumstances and still enjoying your life! Hope to come in London soon!:)
